"Working on Hempmento was where it’s at for me. Not only have I had the experience of making a fun short film, but I have been able to work with my friends and create something we can all be proud of. I can remember our shoot last November. Being cooped up in a little house for 4 days can start to wear you down, but the humor of the film and the humor going on behind the scenes is what made it so much fun. During one take, we forgot to use the slate at the beginning of the shot. Being the editor for the film also, I insist on slating the shot so we know the scene number and take number. Jeff and Michael started after I yelled action‚ or go‚ or something like that and then I looked down and the slate was in my hand.  I then yelled, 'Cut!' I held up the slate and said, 'I have the clap!' I guess I didn't realize that I was saying that I have the clap. It definitely got a good laugh!  Look for the out-take on the DVD. We got some great laughs. It has been such an honor to work with such talented people. To have friends that can write, act, produce, shoot, light, and just contribute positively to something so complicated as making a film for no money is amazing. The contributions that everyone has put forth to make this film a reality has been priceless. I would especially like to thank Jeff for being a great partner on this film. The talent and creativity he puts into his work can be seen in the final product."

"It's amazing what a small amount of talented, driven people can accomplish. I've been on shoots with 50 times the people we had for Hempmento, and they don't compare to the energy, enthusiasm and camaraderie we had for this silly little film. To everyone involved in Hempmento: you kick ass!"
